Municipal sludge drying and incineration treatment process

1. Landfill municipal sludge

In the past, landfill was commonly used to treat municipal sludge, mainly because this treatment method was relatively simple, easy to operate, and the required cost was not high. However, with the continuous reduction of land resources and the increasing emphasis on environmental protection. The landfill treatment method is gradually being phased out, and the main reasons for it are analyzed in the following three aspects.

Firstly, the landfill of sludge is generally carried out in a garbage treatment plant, and many garbage in the garbage treatment plant is accumulated together for a long time, which can easily cause safety hazards such as fires.

Secondly, due to the high fluidity of sludge, once there is a flow situation, the landfill site is prone to causing road collapse, thereby causing personal and property safety.

Thirdly, during the process of sludge landfill, if there are operational issues that cause sludge to seep out, it will inevitably have an impact on the surrounding environment and cause certain environmental pollution.

Municipal sludge drying and incineration is currently a commonly used sludge treatment method, which mainly involves drying and incineration of municipal sludge, decomposing harmful substances in the sludge, and reusing some of its residues. However, it should be noted that the smoke generated during the incineration process must be treated to meet the emission standards before it can be discharged to avoid environmental pollution.

2.Gasification, carbonization, and incineration sludge treatment processes

The treatment process can be roughly divided into three parts: gasification, carbonization, and incineration. The specific operation process is as follows: municipal sludge is put into equipment with a temperature of around 200 ℃, and during the drying process, the sludge is crushed by stirring; After the crushing is completed, the sludge is placed in the carbonization equipment for carbonization, and the carbonized sludge is crushed again; Then coordinate with other substances to burn them as raw materials for building materials such as cement. This process requires multiple procedures, and these procedures will produce odors and pollute the air in the operating room. Therefore, operators should take corresponding protective measures. At the same time, in sludge treatment projects, scaling is prone to occur inside the equipment, and regular cleaning of the equipment is also necessary.
