Recently, China has defined 5G, artificial intelligence, industrial Internet, Internet of Things, etc. as "new infrastructure construction". Industrial Internet is driving the development trend of manufacturing transformation and upgrading, forming the innovation trend that 5G and industrial integration, mutual promotion and multiplication of development. To this end, Shenzhen Water Group(SZWG), together with Shenzhen Mobile and Huawei, jointly promoted the 5G network coverage of the Honghu Water Purification Plant, and launched relevant business application pilots based on the new Huawei 5G indoor digital system LampSite to build the city's first 5G smart water purification plant in Shenzhen.
This verification is the first phase of the field test for the application of 5G smart water plants. Through the establishment of 5G network coverage and smart AI video monitoring system, the construction of 226 monitoring points and remote monitoring service platform in the whole region was completed, and 5G network was used for monitoring points The data back transmission enables the water plant to carry out timely and rapid feature identification and information comparison of the target object, realizing a full range of security precautions to prevent external intrusions.
5G-based AI Monitoring and Identifying Water Affairs System
At present, traditional wireless network communication cannot meet the network requirements for safe isolation and differentiation of water plant control services. The three major characteristics of 5G, low latency, large bandwidth, and large connection, as well as the two key technologies of network slicing and edge computing, can meet the requirements for safety, reliability and flexibility in all aspects of smart water plant management and production, which enables precise monitoring and remote management of distribution network line sections or equipment.
In the next stage, Shenzhen Water Group will carry out a pilot PLC remote control system based on the 5G network to verify that 5G meets the requirements for remote control services and high-precision network timing in water plants, realizes remote facility operation management, and improves work efficiency.
It is understood that this project has applied for a leading 5G demonstration project in Shenzhen. With the gradual maturity of Shenzhen Mobile's 5G network construction and the continuous enhancement of 5G commercial capabilities, Shenzhen Mobile will help accelerate the automation and informatization process of smart water plants, and cooperate with Huawei and Shenzhen Water Group In-depth cooperation, and gradually advance the application scenarios of 5G in the industrial Internet such as water inlet valve linkage control, robot inspection, video surveillance, etc., to create an application demonstration of "5G + Industrial Internet" in the water industry, and contribute more "deep water wisdom" to Shenzhen's first demonstration "And "deep water power".
